The willow has always been my favorite plant — not just for its beauty, but for its strength. It bends without breaking. It adapts to storms instead of resisting them.

What I love most is that willow trees don’t just survive harsh conditions — they thrive near water, flexing with the elements instead of fighting them. That quiet resilience is something I’ve always admired and try to embody in my own life.

My partner has always loved the fern — one of the oldest plants on earth. Ferns have existed for over 300 million years, surviving long before flowering plants ever appeared. Rooted. Steady. Enduring through generations of change.
